Director - Corporate and Fund Operations

Our client is seeking an experienced leader to join their Luxembourg team as Director, Corporate and Fund Operations. This is a key leadership position, responsible for guiding a team, managing a diverse client portfolio, and playing an integral role in the firms ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate will be motivated by developing people, fostering client relationships, and ensuring excellence in service delivery and compliance.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 1015 colleagues, driving performance, engagement, and professional development.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring exemplary service levels and building trusted relationships.
  • Oversee a portfolio of around 200 corporate and fund clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise on complex structuring, accounting, taxation, and fiduciary matters.
  • Support business development by identifying and pursuing opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Act as an authorised signatory and take on director or board roles for selected client structures.
  • Contribute as part of the Senior Leadership Team to shape strategy and deliver growth objectives.
  • Support recruitment and the development of new talent within the business.
  • Role model the organisations values and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.

 

Your Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant with strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
  • Significant senior-level experience within a Luxembourg PSF, ideally specialising in alternative funds.
  • In-depth understanding of corporate services, fund structures, accounting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proven track record working with high-net-worth individuals, corporates, and alternative fund managers.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience motivating teams and driving change initiatives.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly skilled communicator with strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Recognised technical expert within the alternative funds sector, with a forward-looking and commercial mindset.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an advantage but not essential.
