Our client is a leading global provider of institutional governance, risk, and compliance services to the asset management industry, with over 20 locations worldwide. A key part of their offering is their Alternative Administration business in both the US and Europe
They are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Fund Administration to lead their Luxembourg team. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring top-tier client service and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of hedge funds, private equity, infrastructure, and real estate funds. This role also involves key client-facing responsibilities.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Lead and manage a team of over thirty fund administration professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of a full range of fund administration services, including:
- Fund accounting and reporting
- Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation and validation
- Investor services and reporting
- Corporate accounting for SPV/GPs
- Corporate services, including Corp Sec & Domiciliation
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Sponsor and lead client pitches and business development initiatives.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions to ensure seamless service delivery and leverage global expertise.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Drive the growth and development of the company's fund administration business in Luxembourg.
- Assume local responsibility for the P&L.
- Maintain a market-facing presence and stay up to date on industry, client, and prospect developments.
Your profile:
- 10+ years of experience in fund administration, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg fund regulations and industry best practices.
- Experience with various fund structures, including hedge funds, private equity funds, private debt, and real estate.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial, with a vision for growing the business.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions
