Finance Accounting MANAGER

Our client stands out as one of the leading and most seasoned global private equity investors, possessing a formidable presence in the local market. They are currently seeking an experienced Finance Accounting Manager who will actively lead and support the team in their day-to-day responsibilities.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Manage accounting tasks including bookkeeping of cash movements, computation of interests, accruals, and adjustments of asset values.
  • Prepare various financial documents such as wallcharts, capital tables, waterfall analyses, and other relevant working papers related to portfolio investments.
  • Oversee the Management Equity Plan, including capital tables, warehousing, and coordination of restructuring activities.
  • Coordinate professional services advisors, including accounting, tax, and auditing services.
  • Manage the preparation of direct tax and VAT filings.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as registrations and publications.
  • Coordinate banking services and facilitate transaction delivery in Luxembourg by collaborating with internal teams.
  • Prepare annual and statutory accounts and perform consolidations.
  • Generate reporting for underlying investments and manage the audit process, including consolidation.
  • Prepare data and documentation for BCL reporting.
  • Manage corporate bank accounts, including preparing cash flow statements and overseeing treasury management.
  • Ensure accurate settlement through cash reconciliation and recording of bank statements.
  • Calculate and reconcile fees, and assist with budget preparation.
  • Manage invoices, including reconciliation, recording, and payment, as well as re-invoicing.
  • Organize distributions by the Luxembourg company and oversee the call-back procedure.
  • Assist in setting up entities with the support of legal advisors.
  • Maintain up-to-date working papers for transactions structured via Luxembourg.
  • Coordinate bank account openings and access.
  • Archive documentation related to accounting and finance on shared drives and in paper files.
  • Manage liquidation of entities and provide follow-up as needed.

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across departments.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, promoting knowledge-sharing.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is advantageous.
