Fund Accounting Manager Oversight UCITS & Private Assets

For one of our clients, an international Asset Manager, we are assisting the recruitment of a position of Fund Accounting Manager Oversight based in Luxembourg.

Our client offers a dynamic working environment within a professional growing Fund Accounting team based in Luxembourg. Within this position you will have a large exposure within the group due to the variety of stakeholders you will work with located in different countries. As the fund accounting team is growing there will be opportunities to develop your career within the team.

This position suites a person that has at least 7 years’ + experience working in a Fund Accounting oversight position with exposure to UCITS and Private Assets. Ideally you should also have had exposure to governance as the position covers both Fund Accounting and Governance oversight.

Your Responsibilities

The Fund Accounting Managers will play a key role in supporting the governance and the development of the Fund Accounting business.

Main responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the offshored and outsourced fund accounting activities
  • Governance and ongoing oversight, due diligence of external administrators
  • Board level governance, which includes co-ordination and preparing of information and preparing minutes of meetings
  • Take part in the year end Audit reviews
  • Developing and maintaining controls and processes
  • Work closely with a wide range of different stakeholders within the group.

Your profile

  • You have at least 7+ years’ experience working in a Fund Accounting position with exposure to UCITS and Private Assets.
  • Solid experience in third party fund administrator, accountants and tax advisors oversight.
  • You are fluent in English both written and spoken. Any other European language would be considered a benefit.
  • Solid MS Office knowledge, especially Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the possibility to adapt in a fast moving environment
  • You are a natural team player and the ability to communicate at all levels in /outside the organisation
  • You are looking to work in an international, fast moving and growing environment
  • Willingness to work in shifts from 13:00 – 20:30 at least three times per month.
