Fund Accounting Private Assets Manager – Asset Management

For one of our clients, an international Asset Manager, we are assisting the recruitment of a position of Fund Accounting Manager Private Assets in Luxembourg.

Our client offers a dynamic working environment within a professional growing Private Assets team based in Luxembourg. Within this position you will have a large exposure within the group due to the variety of stakeholders you will work with located in different countries. As the Private Asset business is growing there will be opportunities to develop your career within the team.

This position suits a person that has at least 5 years’ + experience working in a Fund Accounting position with exposure to Private Assets (Real Estate, Private Credit, Private Equity). Ideally you should also have had exposure to governance as the position covers both Fund Accounting and Governance oversight.

Your Responsibilities

The Fund Accounting Managers will play a key role in supporting the governance and the development of the Private Assets business.

Main responsibilities:

• Support the onboarding of Private Assets funds
• Oversight of the fund administrations, external accounting and tax service providers
• Governance and ongoing oversight, due diligence of external administrators
• Board level governance, which includes co-ordination and preparing of information and preparing minutes of meetings
• Work closely with a wide range of different stakeholders within the group.

Your profile

• You have at least 5+ years’ experience working in a Fund Accounting position with exposure to Private Assets, such as Real Estate, Private Credit, Private Equity or Infrastructure .
• Excellent understanding of current accounting standards , IFRS and Lux GAAP
• You are fluent in English both written and spoken. Any other European language would be considered a benefit.
• Excellent organisation skills, with the possibility to adapt in a fast moving environment
• You are a natural team player and the ability to communicate at all levels in /outside the organisation
• You are looking to work in an international, fast moving and growing environment
