In-House Legal Counsel (1 year fixed-term contract)

 

Anderson Wise is pleased to assist an international Investment Company in its search for an In-House Legal Counsel. You will be working at the Luxembourg office located in the city center of Luxembourg.

  

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain corporate template documents for the company, cultivate expertise, and track legal and regulatory developments in corporate M&A across various asset classes.
  • Review and negotiate all contractual agreements entered by the Company.
  • Make sure that investment, disposal, and financing transactions receive internal approval from the Company, aligning with group guidelines.
  • Provide legal counsel regarding the company's daily operations, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and coordinating and executing investment transactions, with a focus on real estate, infrastructure, and private equity investments.
  • Establish and sustain trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective legal policies and procedures to minimize legal risks.
  • Conduct legal research, monitor changes to laws and regulations, and advise on their impact on the firm.

 

Your profile

  • Holder of a Law degree.
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 years post-qualified experience in a law firm or alternative investment firm.
  • Perfect fluency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Strong team player.
