Our client is growing their team and is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist responsible for coordinating the financial reporting process for investment funds and companies across various standards. The role involves reviewing and approving Financial Statements prepared by the Dublin office, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supervising operational tasks. This position requires occasional travel within Europe.

Your Responsibilities

• Serving as the main contact for Dublin colleagues, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Reviewing Financial Reporting procedures and controls for accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervising tasks such as preparation of Financial Statements and regulatory filings.
• Responding to client and auditor queries and resolving issues.
• Training and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Collaborating with management to enhance departmental procedures.
• Continuously assessing and improving operational efficiency.
• Maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal teams.

Your profile

• 3+ years' funds experience in Luxembourg, preferably with alternative investments.
• 2+ years of financial reporting or audit experience.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles in the Investment Services Industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
