Managing Director
An excellent opportunity to join premier provider of Alternative fund administration, with a client- centric approach to managing complex fund structures and delivering high-quality reporting and administration solutions. The Managing Director will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing client service delivery. Reporting directly to the Executive Board, the MD will oversee business development, operational excellence, and client relationship management. This individual will lead a high-performing team, work closely with stakeholders across regions, and ensure alignment with our mission and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the strategic vision for business growth, identifying emerging trends and investment opportunities.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, promoting a high-performance culture aligned with our core values of integrity, service excellence, and collaboration.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events, establishing thought leadership within the private equity fund administration sector.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a senior point of contact for major clients, ensuring the delivery of high- quality, customized solutions.
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients, proactively addressing their evolving needs.
- Ensure client satisfaction by continuously improving service delivery and providing innovative, value-added services.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee the execution of operational processes and policies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure efficient, scalable processes across fund administration, investor reporting, and compliance functions.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to leverage technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and risk management.
Financial Management & Business Development
- Set financial targets, manage budgets, and monitor key performance metrics to ensure business profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s footprint in Europe and other regions.
- Oversee and participate in contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and client pitches.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with Luxembourg financial regulations, as well as internal risk management and governance frameworks.
- Work with the Compliance team to maintain a robust risk control environment and ensure regulatory reporting obligations are met.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in finance, business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred. • 10+ years of experience in private equity fund administration, alternative investment services, or related fields.
- Proven track record of managing P&L, setting strategic direction, and driving business growth.
- Deep understanding of Luxembourg’s regulatory environment for the financial services industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
