Job Description

Our client, a reputable investment firm based in Luxembourg, is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their multicultural and dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of entities, handling end-to-end accounting processes, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounting and financial operations of various legal entities within the firm’s structure, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensure all accounting records are maintained in compliance with regulatory filings and statutory obligations for all relevant entities.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure proper accounting reconciliation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide detailed financial and accounting analysis to support decision-making on investment structures.
  • Liaise with internal accounting teams and external stakeholders (including auditors and tax advisors) to support audit processes and tax reporting.
  • Assist in the implementation of accounting controls and process improvements to strengthen compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings, including the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting in Luxembourg, with strong experience managing financial client portfolios.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • You are proactive, autonomous, and adaptable.
