Job Description

Our Client is a leading international investment firm offering innovative investment solutions across Private Credit and Private Equity strategies.

The Company is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Controller to join its growing Fund Finance team in Luxembourg. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic cross-border environment, working closely with teams in London and the U.S.

 

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Lead and oversee key activities within the Fund Finance team (Luxembourg and London).
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all fund accounting and reporting responsibilities.
  • Prepare annual accounts for Luxembourg-based funds and coordinate audits.
  • Manage quarterly/NAV reporting and respond to LP-specific reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate daily fund administration, including accounting, bank reconciliations, capital calls, distributions, and equalisations.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Loan Operations, Deal, Investor Solutions) and external partners (administrators, auditors, tax advisors).
  • Oversee valuations (ECLs, fair value under IFRS and US GAAP) for Private Credit and Private Equity funds.
  • Manage tax-related coordination, including fund transfer pricing, accruals, and returns with external advisors.
  • Support bridge loan facility utilisation and FX hedge coordination.
  • Maintain accurate fund-related data, ensuring consistency across systems and reports.
  • Promote knowledge-sharing and cross-training within the team, documenting processes and improving controls.

 

Your profile:

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in Private Debt and/or PE fund accounting and administration.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong technical accounting skills with experience in fund structures domiciled in Luxembourg.
  • Solid understanding of valuations and fund reporting under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • Experience with eFront or similar fund accounting systems.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and proactive with strong ownership and attention to detail.
  • Motivated team player with the ability to thrive in a cross-border, fast-growing environment.
