Are you an experienced AML professional with experience working in a Fund Administrator and looking for a senior role with real impact?

Our client is seeking an autonomous and highly skilled AML Senior Compliance Manager to lead and oversee the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing framework of their Luxembourg-based fund administration business. This is a key role for someone ready to take ownership, act as the main contact with the CSSF, and ensure strong alignment with Luxembourg regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the appointed AMLCO and primary point of contact with the CSSF.
• Oversee and enhance the AML/CFT framework in accordance with Luxembourg regulations.
• Manage KYC and investor onboarding procedures.
• Perform risk assessments for clients and distributors.
• Monitor transactions and escalate suspicious activity as necessary.
• Prepare AML/CFT reports for the Board of Directors.
• Supervise delegated AML functions and oversee external service providers.
• Coordinate internal and external AML audits.
• Draft and maintain AML policies and lead internal training programmes.

Your Profile

• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in the financial sector, with a strong AML/CFT background.
• Significant exposure to Luxembourg fund administration is essential.
• Practical knowledge of UCITS and AIF structures and fund operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CFT regulations.
• Fluency in English is a must. Spanish language skills would be an advantage
• University degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Recognised AML certifications (e.g. ACAMS, ICA Diploma) are strong assets.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and with regulators.
• Must meet CSSF “fit & proper” criteria for AMLCO roles.
