Our client, a well-established investment management company based in Luxembourg, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented AML and Compliance Officer. This key role supports the Conducting Officer in charge of Compliance and AML/CTF functions to ensure all entities under management remain fully aligned with Luxembourg’s regulatory framework. The successful candidate will also play an important part in maintaining robust corporate governance standards across the organisation.
Your Responsibilities
- Draft, maintain and update compliance and AML/CTF procedures.
- Support the Conducting Officer in providing compliance advice to the AIFM Board.
- Promote compliance awareness and deliver training for Luxembourg employees.
- Assist in the identification and reporting of compliance breaches.
- Coordinate and execute internal reviews as part of the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Conduct AML/CTF due diligence on investors, counterparties, and service providers.
- Maintain key registers, including breaches, PEPs, and suspicious transaction reports.
- Support onboarding and ongoing due diligence for funds and investors.
- Liaise with the CSSF and both internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar AML/Compliance role within investment management or a related legal field.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CTF laws and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or similar.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (German is a plus).
- Self-motivated, fast learner with a collaborative mindset and strong execution skills.
