Our Client is a global investment firm primarily focusing on Real Estate and Debt investment strategies. Their Luxembourg office serves as a key platform for the management, pooling, and investment of the firm’s European assets.

They are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to join their growing Luxembourg team and support the Head of Luxembourg in overseeing legal operations and strengthening private debt fund expertise.

Your areas of responsibility:

• Review transaction, corporate, and financing documentation prepared by junior lawyers or external advisors.
• Advise on corporate and M&A matters relating to Luxembourg funds and SPVs; ensure good standing and corporate governance.
• Draft and review legal documents for the day-to-day operations of lending vehicles.
• Review and approve external contracts entered into by Luxembourg entities.
• Organize and lead board meetings and calls.
• Maintain ongoing communication with notaries, legal counsel, banks, regulators, and auditors.
• Coordinate with internal teams including asset management, deal teams, tax, and accounting.
• Supervise and mentor junior legal team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping and compliance of Luxembourg entities.
• Act as a director on the boards of various SPVs.

Your profile:

• Law degree with +12 years’ legal experience in law firms and/or alternative investment firm.
• In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg contractual and statutory legal requirements.
• Solid experience in alternative funds, including private debt business.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; able to lead by example.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities.
• Pragmatic, efficient, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
