Finance & Business Operations Officer

Join a growing international Luxembourg-based investment management firm that invests in a great variety of sectors.

Our client is seeking a “Finance & Business Operations Officer” to join strengthen the Finance team in Luxembourg.

The ideal candidate would have both the knowledge in finance and at the same time have a technology friendly mindset, somebody that is familiar with ERP, dashboards and VBA.

Your areas of responsibility:

• Cash flow and liquidity management
• Operational support on transactions
• Regulatory reporting
• Coordination of information flow within wider finance department;
• Project management for implementation of software solutions, including ERP;
• Liaise with investee private equity funds on capital calls, distributions and quarterly / annual reporting. Monitoring performance of PE funds.
• Support day to day finance operations, including, but not limited to approving payments, FX hedging and other treasury functions
• Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and various group committees;
• Ad-hoc projects

Your profile:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Finance position within Private equity, Industrial companies and/or Big4 advisory .
• Technology friendly mindset, with hands-on experience in process automation
• Familiarity with ERPs, dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau etc) and VBA
• Basic understanding of Private Fund structures and operations
• Basic understanding of cash management functions and payments systems
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
• Independent and proactive in resolving issues.
• Motivated to improve processes and optimise deliverables
• Team player who integrates well within an international team.
