Job Description

Be part of a team that’s building something new from the ground up. In this role, you’ll shape operational practices, introduce smart solutions, and strengthen the foundation of a global investment platform. You’ll lead and deliver projects that make an impact, joining the first international private equity operations team of its kind.

Your responsibilities:

  • Drive the timely delivery of monthly NAV calculations for the private equity structure.
  • Ensure precision and excellence in all outputs, reviewing and finalising deliverables to the highest standards.
  • Analyse and account for investment activities, including costs, fair value adjustments, and capital movements.
  • Authorise journal entries and workpapers prepared by the team, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Lead complex projects, coordinating tasks to guarantee accurate and punctual accounting and reporting.
  • Coach and support team members across different locations, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Provide expert guidance on technical accounting matters, resolving complex issues with confidence.
  • Act as the strategic link between the organisation and its principal investment partner.
  • Innovate and refine processes, strengthen controls, and enhance documentation to drive continuous improvement in private equity operations.

 Your profile:

  • Around eight years of solid experience in accounting or audit, ideally gained within a recognised financial reporting environment (IFRS, US GAAP, or Luxembourg GAAP), with exposure to private equity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; holding a CPA, ACCA, or similar certification is a strong advantage.
  • Sound understanding of partnership structures, private equity funds, and investment management operations.
  • Skilled in analysis, troubleshooting, and investigative review of financial data.
  • Comfortable working with financial reporting systems; experience with tools such as Power BI or SIGMA would be an asset.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex accounting matters and provide practical resolutions.
  • Well-organised, detail-focused, and capable of balancing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communicator and team coordinator with excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach, with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
