Job Description

Our client is a leading alternative investment firm specialising in debt/ credit investments. They are seeking a Conducting Officer for Risk Management and ICT to join their Luxembourg AIFM. This role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-growing organisation, working closely with both the Luxembourg and global teams.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

Risk Management Function

  • Lead the AIFM’s permanent risk management function.
  • Prepare and present regular AIF and AIFM risk reports to senior management and boards.
  • Develop and monitor fund risk profiles.
  • Maintain and update risk management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee investment restrictions and other risk limits.
  • Monitor AIF liquidity and update liquidity monitoring procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve risk breaches with portfolio managers and conducting officers.
  • Prepare the annual risk manager’s report for the CSSF.
  • Support onboarding of new funds and investments from a risk perspective.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory and industry developments, implementing necessary changes.
  • Respond to internal queries to support investor requests, company reporting, and decision-making.

ICT Risk Management

  • Maintain the ICT Risk Management Framework.
  • Ensure compliance with DORA and CSSF ICT risk requirements.
  • Conduct ICT risk assessments and maintain the ICT risk inventory.
  • Communicate with the CSSF on ICT risk matters as needed.
  • Oversee the ICT outsourcing register, procedures, and policy.
  • Assist with cybersecurity notifications to the CSSF.

 

Your Profile:

  • University Degree in a relevant field (engineering, mathematics, accounting & finance, computer sciences & IT, or physics).
  • In-depth knowledge of AIFMD and Luxembourg regulations.
  • Strong industry expertise in alternative assets in Luxembourg.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in risk management within the funds industry.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerBI.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
