Job Description
Our client, an internationally recognised fund admin service provider, is looking for a Head of Operations to join their team in Luxembourg, to play a key role in their ambitious growth and client service goals. Your Responsibilities
- Lead an accounting and administration team, ensuring exemplary client service levels, managing relationships, and acting as the primary contact for clients and advisors.
- Directly manage three team leaders overseeing funds, accounting, and administration teams, driving performance, engagement, and development.
- Identify business development opportunities in collaboration with the Head of Commercial, leveraging group capabilities to meet client needs.
- Ensure full compliance with policies, regulatory, and legal obligations, with a strong focus on AML and KYC procedures.
- Oversee the commercial performance of client relationships, ensuring key performance and risk indicators are met.
- Act as an authorised signatory, Manager/Director on selected client boards, and potentially on the board of local operating businesses.
- Support the Luxembourg business and wider group strategy as a member of the senior leadership team.
- Model the companies values and behaviors, fostering an inclusive culture aligned with the companies mission.
- Recruit and onboard high-quality team members as needed.
Your Profile
- Full accounting qualification, with extensive experience in Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS; an Expert Comptable qualification is ideal.
- In-depth knowledge of technical funds, corporate, accounting, taxation, and fiduciary matters.
- Proven experience in managing compliance regulations and fiduciary obligations.
- A track record of working with high-net-worth individuals, corporates, and alternative fund managers.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with a focus on driving performance and embracing change.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to improving efficiency.
- A high level of self-motivation, integrity, and the ability to build trust-based relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with competency in French as an added advantage.
