Join a growing international Luxembourg-based investment management firm that invests in a great variety of sectors.
Our client is looking for an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Director for a fixed-term assignment. Oversee the financial reporting processes, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and manage external audit preparations, providing essential continuity to the team throughout this interim period.
Financial Reporting Director - Interim Mission
(3 to 4 months)
Your areas of responsibility:
- Oversee IFRS consolidated reporting: guidelines, format, timetable, compliance, and deliverables
- Ensure reporting compliance across various jurisdictions (Lux GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS)
- Coordinate external audits, including fee reviews and communication with the audit committee
- Review technical audit memos on key reporting issues (e.g., investment entity, IFRS 9, related parties, going concern)
- Manage ad hoc finance-related projects
- Report directly to the CFO
Your profile:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial reporting, including Big 4 and in-house roles
- University degree in Finance, ACCA/CPA qualification preferred
- Extensive IFRS Reporting experience, including consolidation under IFRS 10 exemption for Investment Firms
- Proficient in accounting entries, elimination adjustments, and complex group consolidations
- Strong understanding of valuations for both listed and non-listed financial instruments
- Familiarity with UK GAAP, Lux GAAP, and other regulatory standards; experience with auditors is a plus
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail; independent and proactive in issue resolution
- Motivated to improve processes and optimize deliverables
- Collaborative team player within an international environment
