For one of our clients, with a custodian banking activity, we are assisting the recruitment of a newly created position of Reconciliation & Reporting Manager based in Luxembourg.

Within this position you will be responsible for reconciliation of cash and financial instrument positions, preparation and execution of regulatory reporting, due diligence on third parties and keeping market static data / pricing up to date in the Temenos core banking system. The manager will be looking after a small team of professionals and will contribute to the development of the department.

This position suites a person that has at least 5 years’ + experience working in a reconciliation and/or  regulatory reporting and market static data position. Experience working with Temenos, GT Match, and SWIFT would be great advantage

Your Responsibilities

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities are:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring efficiency, high standard of quality in the deliveries, compliance and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Establish robust and efficient processes and implement measures to reduce risk and drive cost effectiveness
  • Main contact person for reconciliation, regulatory reporting, due diligence and market static data

Your profile

  • Degree in Economis, Business and or Finance
  • At least 5 years’ + experience working in a reconciliation and/or  regulatory reporting and market static data/ pricing position.
  • Experience working with Temenos, GT Match, and SWIFT would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg or Telekurs would be an advantage
  • You are fluent in English both written and spoken. Additional languages skills in French and/ or German  would be considered an asset.
  • You are a natural team player, with a hands on mentality and the ability to communicate at all levels in /outside the organization
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills and structured way of working
  • Leadership to motivate and empower others
