Anderson Wise presents an exciting opportunity within a leading industrial group operating across 6 European countries. This industry leader, known for its market position, offers promising growth prospects.

 

In this pivotal role, you'll provide crucial support to subsidiaries and executive leadership. Your responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, planning processes, analysis, and implementing tools to facilitate informed decision-making and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with the Luxembourg-based Director and the Group Management Controller in Paris.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Project budget preparation
  • Establish the management budget schedule (including buyers, logistics, quality and design teams)
  • Initiate cost control for design hours
  • Break down purchase budgets into “coherent sets” and assign them an analytical budget code
  • Link material orders to budget codes and match each invoice to a purchase order
  • Track production hours (monitoring and updates of contracts: amendments, additional work, risks, and contingencies)
  • Present budgets by project
  1. Project Progress Monitoring and Variance Analysis
  • Conduct monthly schedule updates with project teams
  • Recalculate project completion forecasts
  • Perform monthly budget controls for design hours, purchases, and production
  • Synthesize and reconcile subcontractor data
  • Plan installation resources: accounting reconciliation
  • Provide administrative support if necessary: tracking orders and invoices, optimizing splits, reviewing subcontracting contracts, checking insurance certificates, etc.
  1. Financial Reporting
  • Support Project Managers in budget controls
  • Co-author regional reports
  1. Subsidiary overhead Monitoring
  • Develop forecast budgets for overhead and direct departments
  • Perform monthly budget control and variance analysis
  • Assist Country Manager in preparing Country Reviews
  1. Additional Responsibilities
  • Conduct ad hoc studies
  • Participate in cross-functional projects (e.g., ERP, group cash flow...)

 

Your profile:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or similar
  • Around 4 years of relevant experience in controlling in a complex, multi-entity, industrial environment.
  • Experience in project financing is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to transform complex data into actionable insights through effective communication
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Team player with a proactive approach, strong conceptual skills, and initiative
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
