VAT Manager
Anderson Wise is happy to present this exciting opportunity to join our client, a globally operating alternative fund and corporate services provider. Your Responsibilities
- Review the preparation of VAT returns, calculation of VAT provisions, and VAT assessments
- Serve as the primary contact for Luxembourg tax authorities.
- Act as a key liaison for international group entities on indirect tax queries.
- Coordinate with tax advisors.
- Participate in ad hoc projects.
- Handle VAT matters including annual returns, periodical returns, assessments, and provisions.
- Maintain VAT records and manage filing deadlines for client companies.
- Facilitate coordination between clients and service providers.
- Mentor and review the work of junior and senior tax officers.
- Provide training and support to the client-facing team.
Your Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards.
- 4-5 years of experience in preparing and reviewing VAT tax returns for Luxembourg entities (Big 4 experience advantageous).
- Chamber of Commerce Cycle B and Cycle A Diplomas (international tax, corporate income taxes, personal tax, indirect tax).
- Fluent in English; additional languages (French, German) are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
- Familiarity with eCDF and efiscalease.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Critical thinking, discipline, and meticulous attention to detail.
