Are you an experienced tax professional eager to grow in a fast-paced environment?

Anderson Wise is happy to present this exciting opportunity to join our client, a globally operating alternative fund and corporate services provider. In this role, you will leverage your experience gained to date, reporting directly to the associate director as you support the set-up and delivery of their Irish tax service proposition in coordination with the Group-wide model, contributing to the local management team and the Luxembourg tax team.

Our client will provide the necessary in-house training for relevant technical knowledge and professional qualifications to enhance your professional development and ability to provide sound administration services.

Your Responsibilities

• Preparation of Irish corporate tax returns, the calculation of tax provisions and the review of tax assessments
• Maintain appropriate records of their client's tax affairs
• Follow the internal control framework and processes
• Review the work prepared by tax trainees
• Coach the tax trainees

 Your Requirements

• At least 4 years of previous experience preparing and reviewing tax returns
• Experience in the alternatives space in Ireland is a plus
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is desirable
• A relevant undergraduate degree (accounting, finance, or business) is desirable
• Fluency in English is required
• Advanced Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, skills
• The ability to work collaboratively with diverse client teams
• Attention to detail to ensure the delivery of consistent and high standards
• A commitment and desire to deliver high-levels of client service
• Ability to think critically and creatively, work under pressure and within tight deadlines
