Compliance Officer – AML/KYC

As part of their continued focus on compliance and client integrity, our Client is seeking a Compliance Officer to strengthen their AML/KYC team, with a focus on periodic reviews.
You’ll work in a human-sized, collaborative environment that values your expertise and supports your professional growth.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Conduct client due diligence periodic reviews, including analysis of client files, documentation, corroboration, and risk classification
- Liaise with front office teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of client information
- Perform ancillary compliance tasks related to client relationship management
- Advise and support Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) on compliance matters tied to periodic reviews
- Investigate and escalate identified compliance issues, mitigating legal, regulatory, and reputational risks
- Participate in training initiatives to ensure staff are kept current on compliance obligations and regulatory changes
Your profile:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in banking, preferably in Compliance, Audit, or Legal
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
- Deep knowledge of compliance regulations including AML-CFT/KYC, MiFID, and Fraud
- Strong understanding of account opening processes, corporate documentation, and business structures
- Fluent in French and English; additional languages such as Spanish or Dutch are a plus
