Job Description

Private Banking Support Officer

For our client, International Private Bank, with European HQ based in Luxembourg, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join the bank as Private Banking Support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advice and support CROs in the preparation of account opening/review files, in order to facilitate the opening/review process
  • Analyze onboarding files and file reviews before submission to the Compliance Department
  • Execute ex-ante controls with a focus on internal processes and regulatory topics, in line with PB control blueprint.
  • Monitor the follow-up/resolution of operational alerts.
  • Follow up on feedback provided by the Compliance Department.
  • Perform additional/ad-hoc reviews as needed.
  • Support in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of PB control and risk management activities.
  • Support PB risk assessments in coordination with the Second Line of Defense.       
  • Participate in various front office, operational, and risk management projects as requested.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Law.
  • Understanding of the Private Banking business
  • Knowledge of financial products and banking processes.
  • KYC/AML expertise in Private Banking
  • Understanding of Risk Management processes and practices
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Financial analysis and performance
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying up to date with industry trends.
