Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Luxembourg-based investment risk team. This role offers the opportunity to influence risk strategies across diverse fund types and markets, working within a globally integrated risk framework. You'll collaborate with international teams, engage with senior stakeholders, and contribute to the evolution of risk governance in a dynamic regulatory landscape.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee investment and non-financial risk across regional fund ranges.
  • Support and improve local risk frameworks, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with first-line teams on risk assessments, controls, and incident management.
  • Provide insightful risk reporting to senior stakeholders and boards.
  • Contribute to risk forums and help optimise risk processes across the business.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and stay connected with industry developments.

 

Your Profile

  • 10+ years' experience in risk management, ideally within asset management or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of fund structures, investment risk, and ESG principles.
  • Confident working with data and delivering clear risk insights.
  • Skilled communicator with experience engaging senior leaders and regulators.
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and adaptable to change.
  • Fluent in English.
