Our Client is a well-established alternative investment firm with a strong international presence and a diverse investment portfolio across real estate, private equity, and infrastructure.
They are seeking an experienced and driven legal professional to join their Luxembourg office to provide strategic legal support across a wide range of transactional matters.
The office is conveniently located near public transport and offers a collaborative, international working environment.
Your areas of responsibility:
As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing transactional legal advice across the Group's investment activities:
- Provide comprehensive legal support on alternative investment transactions (Real Estate, Private Equity, Infrastructure)
- Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of contracts and agreements
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and advise on related legal risks and opportunities
- Lead and manage complex, cross-disciplinary transactions independently
- Understand and align legal advice with the commercial objectives of the business
- Liaise closely with investment professionals and senior leadership teams
- Coordinate and supervise the work of external legal counsel efficiently
- Deliver high-quality legal work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to cross-departmental projects and support continuous process improvement
Your profile:
- +10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a top-tier law firm (Luxembourg, UK, France, Germany, US)
- Law degree from a reputable university
- Strong background in Corporate Commercial, M&A, and Investment Funds related to alternative investment structuring
- Exposure to capital markets and/or banking & finance is a plus
- Previous in-house experience within a financial firm or asset manager is an asset
- Deep technical expertise in major legal jurisdictions
- Genuine interest in legal transactional work across private equity, real estate, and infrastructure
- Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative team player with excellent attention to detail
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); knowledge of French and/or German is a plus
