Our Client provides independent governance solutions to the financial sector, offering compliance and risk management support primarily for investment funds and fund managers across both traditional and alternative asset classes.
As part of its continued growth, the Company is seeking a Risk Officer to support its Executive Committee and clients in maintaining a robust risk management framework.

Your areas of responsibility:
- Support key stakeholders in the risk management process for tradable and non-tradable assets (private equity, real estate, fund of funds, etc.).
- Assist in risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting, covering market, liquidity, operational, valuation, credit, and counterparty risks.
- Collaborate with internal control functions and other stakeholders on all risk management aspects.
- Participate in transaction assessments and liaise with Board members, investment advisors, managers, and consultants.
- Contribute to projects focused on enhancing risk measurement tools and risk modelling.
- Assist in regulatory change projects (CSSF Circulars, AIFMD, ESMA guidelines) and counterparty due diligence.
- Monitor regulatory developments and adapt policies/processes accordingly.
- Assess investment compliance and adherence to risk profiles.
- Conduct research on risk management practices and economic topics.
- Prepare risk management reports for submission to regulators.
Your profile:
- 3-5 years of experience in risk management within a Big Four, financial sector, investment fund managers, or investment funds.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Economics.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of asset management and quantitative finance concepts.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French; other European languages are a plus.
- Strong command of Excel and experience managing databases (Excel, Access).
- IT coding skills are an asset.
- Familiarity with risk management systems.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable.
