New Position - Middle/Back Office Manager
On behalf of our client, a dynamic Family Office in Luxembourg, Anderson Wise recruitment is seeking an experienced Middle/Back Office professional with passion for driving operational excellence and enhancing business processes.

About the Role:
As the Middle/Back Office Manager, you'll oversee the essential post-trade operations that ensure seamless settlement, reconciliation, and compliance processes. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day management of operations, leading a small team and collaborating with various departments to drive efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily middle/back office operations: Trade confirmation, settlement, collateral management, and corporate actions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to MiFID II, EMIR, CSSF, and other regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with front office, risk, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Automation and Process Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce manual tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Reconciliation and Reporting: Oversee reconciliation of trades, cash, and positions, and prepare detailed operational reports for senior management.
- Strategic Projects: Participate in system upgrades and new product launches.
We are looking for:
- Experience: 5+ years in middle/back office operations (investment banking, asset management, or similar). 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial instruments and the post-trade lifecycle.
- Tools Expertise: Familiarity with industry platforms (Bloomberg, Calypso, ERP systems) and regulatory reporting tools.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English required. French, German, or Luxembourgish is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
