For one of our clients, an international Asset Manager, we are assisting the recruitment of a Senior Manager IT Internal Audit based in Luxembourg.

Our client offers a dynamic working environment within an international team located in different geographic locations. With the opportunity to grow and develop your career within the group. 

Within this position you will have a large exposure within the group due to the variety of stakeholders you will work with located in different countries. You will be responsible for examining and evaluating internal controls and governance systems and moreover work closely with the board of directors to help improve controls over key risks in the business.

This position suites a person that has at least 8 years’ + experience working in an IT Audit or IT Internal Audit position in the financial services industry in Luxembourg. With a strong knowledge of the Technology regulatory landscape.

Your Responsibilities

The Senior Manager IT Internal Audit will play a key role in examining and evaluating internal controls and governance systems on a group level.

Main responsibilities:

• Involvement in overseeing and delivering technology focused audit assignments on a group level.
• Work closely with a wide range of different stakeholders within the group.
• Mitigate the risk by verifying applications and infrastructure
• Planning and executing of IT Audit assignments and producing the findings and reports.

Your profile

• You have at least 8 years’ + experience working in an IT Audit or IT Internal Audit position in the financial services industry in Luxembourg.
• Solid knowledge of the Technology regulatory landscape.
• You are fluent in English both written and spoken. Any other European language would be considered a benefit.
• IT risk management qualification or certifications would be an advantage
• Excellent organisation skills, with the possibility to adapt in a fast moving environment
• You are a natural team player and the ability to communicate at all levels in /outside the organisation
• You are looking to work in an international, fast moving and growing environment
• Willingness to travel
