This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing AIFM specialising in Private Equity investments located in Kirchberg.
As a Fund Controller, you will be responsible for the oversight of fund accounting and related operations for the Luxembourg funds under management. You will report to the Conducting Officer in charge of Fund Administration Oversight.
Within this dynamic working environment, offering hybrid working model, you will have the opportunity to help shape the business in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- Review and approve the quarterly NAV calculations, Capital Account Statements, and Investor Reporting
- In collaboration with the other Fund Controllers, oversee and manage the preparation of annual financial statements for investment vehicles and holding companies, as well as liaise with external auditors to cover the annual audits
- Review and approve capital calls, distributions, and fee calculations
- Oversee and approve payment processing of invoices, general cost oversight and cash management
- Monitor the ongoing cash movements of the funds, manage liquidity, and build cashflow forecasts for the funds and related entities
- Support the different reporting and investor query functions
- Contribute to the improvement of existing policies and procedures and implementation of technology solutions to optimise the Fund Controlling function
- Degree in accounting/finance/economics (ACCA or equivalent certification would be a strong asset)
- You have from 3 years of professional experience in Fund Accounting / Fund Administration/ Fund Controlling in Luxembourg
- Experience and knowledge of Private Equity Funds or other alternative asset classes
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proven ability to implement new processes and procedures
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of Lux GAAP and basic knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience in another AIFM or Fund Administrator an advantage
- Fluent in English
