Job Description

Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Oversight Officer to join their Luxembourg-based Finance & Accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to focus on the oversight of fund accounting and NAV production for open-ended structures. Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee third-party fund administrators, ensuring accurate and timely NAV production for open-ended funds.
  • Review and validate monthly NAVs, including portfolio valuations, fee calculations, accruals, swing pricing, and share class returns.
  • Calculate and process quarterly distributions, coordinating with Treasury on hedging.
  • Act as a main contact point for management, investors, and auditors, providing clear and timely responses.
  • Work with Performance and Investor Relations teams on fact sheets, performance insights, and internal dashboards.
  • Review quarterly financial statements to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency with approved NAVs.
  • Support smooth audit processes and provide oversight for closed-ended fund structures.
  • Monitor fund fee schedules and ongoing costs to ensure alignment with agreed terms and documentation.

 

Your Profile

  • Degree in accounting, finance, IT, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 5+ yearsexperience in fund accounting, NAV oversight, or fund administration, ideally with open-ended fund structures.
  • Professional accounting qualification would be advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of private credit and the Luxembourg regulatory environment (CSSF, AIFMD).
  • Previous experience within an AIFM, ManCo, Big Four, or fund administrator in Luxembourg is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of monthly-dealing funds, liquidity management, and investor dealing processes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong eye for detail.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
