Treasury Analyst

Anderson Wise is delighted to partner with a leading industrial group to recruit a new team member for their Treasury department, based in Luxembourg.
As a Junior Treasury Analyst, you will manage global banking systems and help automate processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency in line with internal policies.
The role requires ongoing interactions with more than 150 highly-motivated colleagues and primary international banks to design and rollout state-of-art practices. Furthermore, you will get engaged in a variety of cash management activities including but not limited to funds transfers, FX transactions and cash reporting.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure that Group’s bank account management and administration policies are effectively implemented across the organisation
- Create/delete users as required and configure access profiles to support business requirements
- Provide wide support to users for the timely resolution of system incidents and queries
- Liaise with bank help-desks regarding change requests, user queries and training sessions
- Maintain databases of bank accounts and periodically report to internal stakeholders and auditors
- Understand business unit requirements for specific banking products, evaluate consistency with Group’s guidelines and closely work with banking partners to satisfy them
- Periodically update banking procedures and incorporate them in daily activities
- Engage in other key initiatives of the Treasury Team, including non-system administration and cash management related activities, as needed.
Your profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Previous experience in a Corporate Treasury environment would be advantageous but not essential
- Fluency in English, additional languages highly valued
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis tools, formulas, VBA etc.)
- Good understanding of treasury systems including banking applications, trading portals and treasury management systems
- Process-oriented mindset with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, positive and energetic approach with strong interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbal and written)
- Knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
