Director – Treasury & Investment Portfolio
Are you an experienced finance professional with strong expertise in treasury operations and investment portfolio management? A privately held investment group/family office is seeking a Director – Treasury & Investment Portfolio to lead its cash management structure, oversee investment activity, and manage financing relationships across its subsidiaries.
This is a high-impact role with direct involvement in portfolio strategy, market exposure, and financial oversight. You’ll join a lean, influential team with access to executive decision-making and asset allocation, offering the chance to shape strategy while remaining hands-on across treasury and investments.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Oversee a full-spectrum treasury setup, including front, middle, and back-office operations
- Lead daily cash management across entities and maintain direct relationships with banking partners
- Build and manage a flexible investment portfolio (Equity, Options, Money Market), tailored to the group’s needs
- Monitor financial markets and propose investment decisions based on thoughtful risk-return analysis
- Prepare clear, consistent reporting and develop tools to track performance and manage risk
- Structure and follow up on financing arrangements for group businesses, including real estate and corporate finance
- Support the financial analysis and execution of property investments
Your profile:
- Solid experience in treasury, investment management, and financial risk control—ideally from a family office, holding, or institutional background
- Comfortable taking initiative, shaping strategy, and delivering results without heavy oversight
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a practical understanding of market instruments and funding tools
- Proven ability to grow and manage investment portfolios with a disciplined, long-term view
- Fluent in English and French; capable of presenting complex ideas clearly and confidently
- Based in Luxembourg, with full work eligibility and a sound grasp of the local financial ecosystem
