Our Client is a leading global insurer, providing world-class insurance and reinsurance services across key markets.
With a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaboration, they are seeking an motivated FP&A professional to support their finance function and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Build and maintain key financial reporting packs, acting as an SME on analysis and data.
- Develop a strong working relationship with finance teams to ensure accurate performance management reporting.
- Gain a deep understanding of legal entities and business lines to provide insightful financial analysis.
- Assist in delivering legal entity plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness in business planning.
- Prepare Board and Management Committee packs with comprehensive analysis and commentary.
- Provide financial performance updates to senior stakeholders, including the Europe General Manager.
- Collaborate with business partners to obtain rationale for P&L movements.
- Work closely with Capital Modelling and Planning Teams to ensure consistency in financial data.
- Support employment entity analysis and other finance-related initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including Solvency II and Conduct Risk policies.
Your profile:
- 5-10 years of with relevant experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of insurance accounting and industry-specific financial principles.
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
- Legal experience is preferred.
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings effectively.
- Strong decision-making skills, aligning metrics with strategic priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, demonstrating independence in resolving financial challenges.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate level minimum); experience with Microsoft BI, SAP, and AnaPlan is a plus.
