Job Description
Our client is a privately held investment firm who are seeking a Fund & Corporate Accountant to oversee the production of accounts and NAV reports for the fund and corporate entities while supporting management reporting and financial forecasting.
This role is based in Luxembourg and works closely with a small local team, as well as a wider team in London. The position reports to the VP - Finance and Operations and requires close coordination with investment and legal teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in SPV/ fund accounting who is eager to take full ownership of the accounting function and drive process improvements.

Your Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping and cash reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end closings
- NAV calculations and reporting
- General ledger maintenance and trial balance preparation
- Intercompany payment bookings and reconciliations
- Budget and forecast entries and updates
- Support for group-level IFRS consolidations
- Preparation of financial statements under Lux GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS
- Audit preparation and support
- Assistance with VAT returns
- Monitoring payables and cash positions
- Supporting middle-office operations, including deal execution
- Enhancing reporting processes and contributing to system improvements
Your Profile:
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in fund administration or private equity
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP, with proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAGE)
- Advanced Excel skills (VBA and database queries a plus)
- Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
