Senior Tax Manager - Direct and Indirect Tax

Our client, a leading fund and corporate services provider, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic tax team in Luxembourg. Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Associate Director in identifying and proposing new tax service opportunities.
  • Collaborating within multi-service and multi-jurisdictional client teams for seamless information sharing and relationship building.
  • Ensuring exceptional client satisfaction across the Tax service client base.
  • Managing, coaching, and addressing the training needs of the tax team.
  • Coordinating and overseeing day-to-day compliance tax services to ensure delivery of excellence.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the Luxembourg tax authorities.
  • Liaising with clientsthird-party advisors.
  • Reviewing corporate tax returns, calculating tax provisions, and overseeing tax assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate records of clientstax affairs and associated filings.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks and processes.
  • Assisting with the development and delivery of the services budget.
  • Collaborating on pricing new tax service opportunities alongside the Associate Director and Business Development team.
  • Contributing to group and jurisdiction-specific Tax service projects.
  • Working closely with Tax service teams across different jurisdictions.

 

Your Profile

  • At least 8 years of experience preparing and reviewing income tax returns for Luxembourg.
  • Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is desirable.
  • A relevant undergraduate degree (Accounting, Finance, Business) is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • A commitment to delivering high levels of client service.
  • Ability to think critically, work creatively, and thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with French being a valuable asset.
