Job Description

Our client, a leading fund and corporate services provider, is seeking a VAT Manager to join their growing team. Our client has a strong focus on personal and professional development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and review of Luxembourg VAT returns, provisions, and assessments.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Luxembourg tax authorities and international group entities on indirect tax matters.
  • Work closely with external tax advisors and engage in special projects as needed.
  • Handle various indirect tax tasks, including preparing VAT returns, managing VAT provisions, and resolving VAT assessments.
  • Maintain detailed VAT records and ensure compliance with Luxembourg filing deadlines.
  • Collaborate with clients and service providers to deliver seamless service.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior and senior tax officers, offering guidance and training to enhance team capabilities..

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
  • 4-5 years of experience preparing and reviewing VAT tax returns for Luxembourg entities (Big 4 experience is advantageous).
  • Hold Chamber of Commerce Cycle B and Cycle A Diplomas (international tax, corporate income taxes, personal tax, and indirect tax).
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages such as French or German is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, eCDF, and efiscalease.
  • Strong organisational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
