Our client, a leading provider of financial and tax services, is seeking a motivated Tax Officer to join their team in Luxembourg. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will play a key role in VAT compliance and supporting the management of a diverse client portfolio. Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare Luxembourg periodic and annual VAT returns, calculate VAT provisions, and review VAT letters.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Luxembourg tax authorities.
  • Provide guidance to international group entities on VAT-related queries.
  • Coordinate between clients and other service providers.
  • Coach and mentor junior tax officers and trainees.
  • Assist with internal and external training initiatives.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.

Your Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience preparing and reviewing periodic and annual VAT returns.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Law.
  • Chamber of Commerce or Chambre des Salariés Privés diploma.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French or German is an asset.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of critical thinking, discipline, and attention to detail
