Our client, a leading provider of financial and tax services, is seeking a motivated Tax Officer to join their team in Luxembourg. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will play a key role in VAT compliance and supporting the management of a diverse client portfolio. Your Responsibilities
- Prepare Luxembourg periodic and annual VAT returns, calculate VAT provisions, and review VAT letters.
- Act as the main point of contact for Luxembourg tax authorities.
- Provide guidance to international group entities on VAT-related queries.
- Coordinate between clients and other service providers.
- Coach and mentor junior tax officers and trainees.
- Assist with internal and external training initiatives.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
Your Profile
- At least 3 years of experience preparing and reviewing periodic and annual VAT returns.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Law.
- Chamber of Commerce or Chambre des Salariés Privés diploma.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French or German is an asset.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of critical thinking, discipline, and attention to detail
