Investment Compliance Manager - Asset management

This is an opportunity to join the Global Investment Compliance team as a Manager responsible for being a trusted advisor across legal, compliance, risk, tax, and public policy functions.
This role offers the chance to provide cross-asset-class compliance support to Investment Management teams across the UK, Ireland, and Continental Europe.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide regulatory advice and compliance support to investment management teams across all asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset). Liaise on a daily basis with stake holders, such as Portfolio Managers, Traders and the product team.
- Stay updated on emerging regulatory developments and advise on their impact on policies, procedures, and controls.
- Address compliance issues related to complex instruments and provide solutions for various investment products.
- Respond to client issues and regulatory inquiries related to Investment Management activities.
- Review prospectuses, investment agreements, and other documents to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Reporting teams on trade, transaction, and reporting obligations.
- Support monitoring teams to ensure effective risk mitigation and a strong control culture.
- Partner in projects to create compliance solutions, improving processes and mitigating risk.
- Represent the team in committees, governance forums, and strategic initiatives.
- Educate stakeholders to foster a strong compliance culture and sustainable improvements.
Your Profile:
- At least 5 years’ experience delivering investment compliance advice across equities, fixed income, and multi-asset instruments.
- Knowledge about derivatives would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of the UK and European regulatory environment (e.g., MIFID, AIFMD, SFTR, EMIR).
- Relevant qualifications such as the Investment Management Certificate would be a benefit
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and build productive relationships.
- Effective problem-solver with the ability to manage shifting and competing priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in English; German is a plus.
