Legal Counsel – Industrial Group
Are you a Qualified Lawyer with a proven legal experience in construction law and/or supply chain matters?
Are you used to advice on a broad range of complex and international legal issues?
Are you a business-oriented and results-driven person who is willing to be in daily contact with experienced and knowledgeable stakeholders?
Your responsibilities
- Reviewing, negotiating and drafting international construction contracts and large CAPEX contracts.
- Being the legal POC for construction contracts across the Group
- Coordinating with the Regional legal Counsels to ensure compliance with Local laws.
- Collaborating closely with (i) the Project Management team in identifying, evaluating and mitigating legal risks, reviewing and approving transactions and implementing mitigation strategies and (i) the Regional Legal Counsels on preparation as wel execution phase.
- Reviewing, negotiating and drafting al types of international commercial contracts including but not limited to procurement and supply chain/ logistics contracts
- Providing advice on the interpretation of contracts, laws and regulations and ensuring compliance,
- In collaboration with the Group Lead Supply Chain Counsel, reviewing and advising on business (improvement of) processes to ensure timely a) involvement of the legal department and b) preparation on potential new regulatory developments
- Checking legislation and new laws to recognize risks and opportunities as early as possible.
Your profile
- Qualified Lawyer from any EU country
- Around 8 years of work experience, gathered in an international environment in private practice and/or as In- House Counsel
- Experienced in complex procurement and / or supply chain transactions, in particular in the areas of engineering services, construction, utilities or transportation would be a plus
- Good commercial mind and ability to handle multiple clients in a fast-paced, growing environment which requires a quick and thoughtful legal touch across several legal disciplines
- Ability to contribute to the formation of a new legal framework for the operating entities across the Group
