Finance Manager – Private Equity

 

Anderson Wise is excited to assist its client, a prominent alternative asset management firm in Europe. We are seeking a driven and dedicated individual to join their team as a Finance Manager at the Luxembourg office.

 

Join their dynamic team and make meaningful contributions in an energetic work environment. As part of this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Finance Director in Luxembourg to supervise and evaluate third-party service providers. Additionally, you'll manage tasks such as cash management, deal finalization, and addressing operational issues impacting their SPVs.

The Luxembourg office is conveniently located at a walking distance from the Luxembourg station. The company offers a nice and international work environment, with flexible working hours and hybrid working model.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Tasked with overseeing the finalization and conducting evaluations of periodic and annual financial accounts.
  • Supervising and assisting the accounting, audit, tax, legal, and other SPV service providers.
  • Provide support with a range of compliance tasks, including the preparation and submission of CIT and VAT returns.
  • Aid in resolving local accounting, reporting, and operational challenges.
  • Support with operational matters/ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with third-party service providers and relevant regulatory authorities.

 

Your profile

 

  • Master’s degree in accounting/finance/economics (ACCA or equivalent certification would be a strong asset)
  • From 7 years of professional experience within an Audit function (Manager level), an Accounting function (Manager level) within an accounting / audit service providers combined with an experience in an alternative investment firm in Luxembourg
  • Strong skills in Lux GAAP and IFRS
  • Strong technical skills in intercompany financing instruments and transfer pricing
  • Understanding of Luxembourg tax laws and reporting requirements.
  • Fluent in English language
  • Proactive team player, self-motivated to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
