Funds Dealing Officer  

An interesting opportunity in the fund department of an international private bank. Join the team that services EU markets & currently expanding into Spain.

 

We are looking for a young professional with 2- 3 years of experience to join the team and grow with us.

You would take care of the dealing of the bank’s funds operations. The position reports to the VP Fund Department Manager

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Excellent handling and follow-up of Funds dealing orders (Subs, Reds, Switches, etc.)
  • Send instructions before the cut-off time and ensure a good receipt
  • Duly follow-up pending instructions and request CN if necessary
  • Placing Redemption/ Subscription orders on the market and duly the follow-up
  • Review the reconciliation reports and proceed with the booking in a timely fashion
  • Dealing with different custodians and fund administration systems
  • Exchange professionally and efficiently with other branches and departments,
  • Retain the highest level of quality of the stakeholder relationship
  • Knowledge of the Spanish Market and Traspasos orders would be an advantage
  • Other tasks in addition to those mentioned above, may be assigned

 

 Your profile

 

  • Degree in Finance, Banking or similar
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant funds experience
  • Business/commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of the Spanish funds market will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Mutual Funds and Hedge Funds would be a benefit
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written, the Spanish language will be considered an asset.
  • Good commands of the Microsoft Office Tools
  • Knowledge of custodian Platforms
  • Knowledge of Avaloq will be considered an asset
