Our Client is a leading global insurer, providing world-class insurance and reinsurance services across key markets.
With a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaboration, they are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to to join their Finance team in Luxembourg, playing a key role in financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Your areas of responsibility:
- Partner with key stakeholders on financial performance metrics, developing strong relationships with Senior Management.
- Act as a key support for the Head of FP&A, CFO, and other entity stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with finance teams to ensure performance management requirements are met.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of legal entities and business lines, ensuring accurate financial reporting and insights for senior leadership.
- Assist in delivering legal entity plans, reviewing and preparing board and management committee reports.
- Provide insights on business performance, ensuring Europe General Manager is fully informed.
- Understand regulatory and capital requirements, collaborating with key teams to ensure compliance.
- Support ad hoc tasks, projects, and cross-functional initiatives as required.
Your profile:
- +10 years of with relevant experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of insurance accounting and industry-specific financial principles and regulations.
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
- Legal experience is required.
- Trusted advisor with the ability to build credibility and strong relationships.
- Highly analytical mindset, able to interpret data and present findings clearly.
- Resilient and adaptable, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Microsoft BI, SAP, and AnaPlan is advantageous.
