Job Description

Our client, a well-established alternative investment firm, is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their Luxembourg office. The business offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with a strong focus on private credit and alternative investments across Europe. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing compliance function in an international setting.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the development, review, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update the compliance monitoring plan, assess the effectiveness of internal controls, and follow up on improvement actions
  • Assist with regulatory filings and notifications, including coordination with local authorities (e.g. CSSF, AED)
  • Liaise with internal teams and external auditors to support compliance and regulatory reporting
  • Provide clear, practical advice to the business on regulatory matters and contribute to compliance-related projects
  • Monitor regulatory developments and help implement any required changes to internal processes
  • Assist with the delivery of training programs and provide ad-hoc support to the AML function when needed

 

Your Profile

  • 3-6 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role, ideally within asset management or financial services
  • Good understanding of Luxembourg regulatory requirements (CSSF rules, AIFM framework, etc.)
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative in approach
