Overview

Play a pivotal key role in a variety of treasury processes including cash management, cash forecasting, FX risk management and intercompany financing.

The primary focus of this position is to enhance visibility over projected liquidity and identify opportunities to optimize the Group’s working capital. This includes conducting detailed cash flow analyses by legal entity and supporting initiatives to improve cash availability. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Produce accurate consolidated cash-flow forecasts, proactively identify liquidity gaps and discuss funding requirements with the Head of Treasury
• Monitor weekly cash-flows by legal entity, highlight variances from forecasts and coordinate corrective actions with local finance teams
• Oversee the operations of the Luxembourg in-house bank, ensuring efficient intercompany funding and mitigation of foreign exchange and interest rate risks
• Support daily cash management activities
• Analyse working capital performance to uncover opportunities for improvement.

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, Treasury or Corporate Finance roles within international organizations
• Demonstrated experience in cash forecasting and working capital analysis
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and financial statements analysis
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office applications.

Treasury Analyst

Anderson Wise is delighted to partner with a leading industrial group to recruit a new team member for their Treasury department, based in Luxembourg.

As a Junior Treasury Analyst, you will manage global banking systems and help automate processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency in line with internal policies.

The role requires ongoing interactions with more than 150 highly-motivated colleagues and primary international banks to design and rollout state-of-art practices. Furthermore, you will get engaged in a variety of cash management activities including but not limited to funds transfers, FX transactions and cash reporting.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure that Group’s bank account management and administration policies are effectively implemented across the organisation
• Create/delete users as required and configure access profiles to support business requirements
• Provide wide support to users for the timely resolution of system incidents and queries
• Liaise with bank help-desks regarding change requests, user queries and training sessions
• Maintain databases of bank accounts and periodically report to internal stakeholders and auditors
• Understand business unit requirements for specific banking products, evaluate consistency with Group’s guidelines and closely work with banking partners to satisfy them
• Periodically update banking procedures and incorporate them in daily activities
• Engage in other key initiatives of the Treasury Team, including non-system administration and cash management related activities, as needed.

Your profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Previous experience in a Corporate Treasury environment would be advantageous but not essential
• Fluency in English, additional languages highly valued
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis tools, formulas, VBA etc.)
• Good understanding of treasury systems including banking applications, trading portals and treasury management systems
• Process-oriented mindset with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative, positive and energetic approach with strong interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbal and written)
• Knowledge of SAP would be a plus.

Experienced Fund Controller

Anderson Wise is pleased to assist an Alternative Investment Fund Manager (Luxembourg-based AIFM) in its search of an experienced Fund Controller to take responsibility for the oversight of fund accounting and related operations for the Luxembourg funds under management.

Your Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving the quarterly NAV calculations, Capital Account Statements, and Investor Reporting
• In conjunction with the other Fund Controllers, overseeing and managing the preparation of annual financial statements for investment vehicles and holding companies as well as liaising with external auditors to cover the annual audits
• Reviewing and approving capital calls, distributions, and fee calculations
• Overseeing and approving payment processing of invoices, general cost oversight and cash management
• Responsible for the ongoing monitoring of cash movements of the funds, managing liquidity, and building cashflow forecasts for the funds and related entities
• Supporting the different reporting and investor query functions
• Contribute to enhancement of existing policies and procedures and implementation of technology solutions to ensure an efficient Fund Controlling function
• Leading the oversight of the delegated Fund Accountant in conjunction with the Conducting Officer in charge of Fund Administration Oversight
• Assisting with valuation-related work at the request of the Conducting Officer in charge of Valuation, as required

Your profile

• Degree in accounting/finance/economics (ACCA or equivalent certification would be a strong asset)

• You have from 6 years of professional experience in Fund Accounting / Audit / or controlling in Luxembourg with knowledge of US GAAP and Lux GAAP. An experience in another AIFM or Fund Administrator would be an advantage
• Valuation experience particularly in private equity or similar assets is also an advantage
• You have strong experience and knowledge of Private Equity Funds or other illiquid alternative asset classes
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a proven ability to implement new processes and procedures
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Fluent in English
