Depositary Analyst
Do you have initial depositary experience with AIFs?
Anderson Wise is happy to present this exciting opportunity to join our client, a globally operating alternative fund and corporate services provider. In this role, you will leverage your experience gained to date, reporting directly to the Depositary Manager.
Our client will provide the necessary in-house training for relevant technical knowledge and professional qualifications to enhance your professional development and ability to provide sound administration services.
Your Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of record-keeping related to funds and their structures.
- Aid in managing depositary matters, including preparing asset confirmations, reconciling and verifying investment holdings, and addressing ad-hoc depositary requests.
- Contribute to the resolution of routine depositary queries.
- Prepare periodic cash reconciliations and provide or obtain supporting documentation to verify transactions.
- Maintain precise records using eFront and Microsoft Excel for all facets of depositary procedures.
Your Requirements
- You hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or equivalent (Bachelor or Master degree)
- The candidate will have the opportunity to study towards a relevant professional qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the area of depositary/custody function gained in a depositary bank or similar experience gained in audit or fund accounting role
- Sound technical financial services knowledge
- Computer literacy skills are essential

- Fluency in English is required (any other languages will be considered as an advantage).
