Legal Administrator
Anderson Wise is pleased to assist a Real Estate investment firm in the search for a Legal Administrator to join their Corporate Legal team.
The successful candidate will join a young, dynamic and professional team, working alongside colleagues from all over the world.
The right candidate is a service-minded team player with a ‘can-do’ mindset. The position plays a central role in assisting the legal & compliance team in a wide range of administrative and legal support tasks.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist with the upload and categorisation of legal and corporate documents on the company database and with the filing of legal and corporate documents;
- Support in maintaining the storage rooms for corporate and financial documents as well as assisting with the reorganisation of archive systems;
- Assist with the printing, execution, scanning and saving of documents
- Assist in the execution of lease agreements, working closely with Asset Managers and Corporate Officers;
- Track the approval and execution of lease agreements;
- Support the team in organising board meetings (board packs, presentations, documents) both on an ad hoc, weekly and quarterly basis;
- Organize the team’s outgoing mail and associated trackers;
- Liaise with other teams regarding the proper dispatch of legal and corporate documents;
- Continuously review of operating practices and procedures in order to determine whether improvements can be made;
- Perform other tasks as required.
Your profile:
- Experience in a corporate administration within a fiduciary, law firm or corporate department
- Fluent English, any other language will be an advantage
- Experience dealing with databases, online filing, document management would be a strong asset
- Total proficiency with MS Office standard applications
- Open personality with a service minded and ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as demonstrate team spirit;
- Able to take direction and ask questions;
- Resourcefulness and strong organizational skills;
- Eye for detail;
- Excellent communication skills
