Senior Compliance Officer (ManCo)

Luxembourg based, Funds Management Company, part of a large international banking group

is looking to reinforce its Luxembourg Compliance team.       

This newly created Senior Compliance Officer position will be reporting to Chief Compliance Officer.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Senior Compliance Officer role managing compliance on AIF and UCITS funds
  2. Conducting periodic and ad hoc controls
  3. Support monitoring of delegated functions with a focus on compliance matters (i.e., distribution, transfer agency, investment managers)
  4. Report to the Conducting Officer in charge of Legal and Compliance
  5. Support the Conducting Officer and Head of Compliance on compliance-related matters
  6. Support the implementation of new laws and regulations
  7. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  8. Maintain an excellent knowledge of regulations- CSSF
  9. Collect and analyze information about clients and partners
  10. Support for the further development of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and the Compliance Risk Assessment

 

Your profile

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably with a Luxembourg fund management company or with a legal department of a company active in that field or consultancy firm
  • University degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or similar
  • Fluency in English is a must – French, German, and Portuguese will be considered an asset
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills – in team collaboration and service to stakeholders
  • Further training in the Compliance and Risk Management area and willingness to continue learning
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory framework (AML, Sanctions e.g.) and experience with implementation (project experience)
  • Strong understanding of the fund business (UCITS/AIF/PERE)
  • Highly developed soft skills, positive energy mindset
  • Clear commitment to a high level of ethics and professional standards
  • Collaborative team player, with a highly ethical and moral approach to business
