Senior Compliance Officer (Private Bank)
(2nd hire)

A leading Private Bank is looking to reinforce its Luxembourg Compliance team.       

Position reporting to Chief Compliance Officer.

Your responsibilities:

  1. A generalist in Compliance: market abuse, transaction processing, KYC/AML, MiFID II, regulatory compliance, customer onboarding etc.
  2. Maintain an excellent knowledge of regulations such as EMIR, MiFID II, market abuse
  3. Collect and analyze information about clients and partners
  4. Participate in the Compliance Monitoring Program
  5. Follow and coordinate sharing of all instructions given by the Regulator - CSSF
  6. Design the Compliance control framework for transaction monitoring and KYT
  7. Perform controls and investigations regarding any potential fraud
  8. Prepare and present regular management reporting in compliance and regulations
  9. Participate in audit, risk, and compliance reviews

 

Your profile

  1. 7+ years of experience in compliance for the banking sector in Luxembourg or the EU
  2. University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Law or similar
  3. Fluency in English is a must – French and any other languages are considered an advantage
  4. Strong knowledge of the EU regulations and circulars, MiFID II, Market Abuse, EMIR, AML/KYC rules & regulations
  5. Excellent analytical and communication skills – team collaboration and service to stakeholders
  6. Collaborative team player, with a highly ethical and moral approach to business
