Alternative Funds Trading Officer


Role Summary:

Attractive opportunity in the Funds department of a well established International Private Bank. We are looking for a young professional with 2-5 years of experience to join our team and grow with us.

You would be in charge of alternative funds payments, dealing and transfers. Working in a dynamic, yet pleasant environment in a team of 7 professionals, reporting to Manager and a Director reporting line.


Your Responsibilities:


  •      Control incoming orders and process them in a timely manner.
  •      Book and execute the payment.
  •      Book and execute distributions on clients’ accounts.
  •      Liaise with external counterparties to clarify/solve day to day issues.
  •      Perform share/cash reconciliation.
  •      Complete redemption/subscription forms when needed.
  •      Collect monthly statements of account.
  •      Follow-up pending trades with relevant TA and request CN.
  •      Match contract notes with the pending trades and process the booking in the system.
  •      Investigate and Exchange communication in a professional and efficient manner with other branches and departments, ensuring always maintaining the highest level of the relationship.
  • Other tasks in addition to those mentioned above, may be assigned to the job holder. 



Your Qualifications:


  • Degree in Finance, Banking or similar
  • Between 2 to 5 years of relevant funds (Mutual, Hedge/ Alternative Funds) trading experience
  • Knowledge of, Private Equities / Real Estate Funds will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg’s regulation (CSSF)
  • Business/commercial acumen
  • Fluent in French & English, while any other EU language will be considered an asset.
  • Advanced or expert user of Microsoft Office Tools
  • Knowledge of custodian platforms
  • Knowledge of Avaloq will be considered a strong asset
